When you simply need to get rid of a nasty chill or soothe your soul with a warming hot whiskey drink- there is nothing like a cinnamon infused hot Irish whiskey- we love this combination.
Ingredients
1oz Lambay Malt Irish Whiskey Earl Grey tea bag Brown Sugar Lemon Juice Boiling water 1 Cinnamon stick Cloves- optional
Method
To make one cup: Combine 4oz of boiling water with tea bag and sugar. Steep well for 3 minutes and stir until all sugar is dissolved. Stir in Lambay Malt Irish Whiskey and add a dash of Lemon juice and drop in a cinnamon stick. Allow to soak for a minute and gently express a lemon rind above for oils and citrus.
