Irish Whiskey Reception
Jan 19th 2023
The growth in Irish whiskey exports has truly been extraordinary over the past few years with recent reports showing that the value of exports surpassed one billion euros for the first time ever in 2022 with Asia fast becoming an increasingly important target market for the product.
On 10 Jan, Bord Bia - The Irish Food Board hosted the “Irish Whiskey Reception 2023” at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong with the support of the Consulate General of Ireland, local importers, industry experts and media.
Consul General, David C., and Bord Bia Representative, Jade Cullinane, were delighted to give a presentation on the unique history and promising future of Irish Whiskey. We were delighted to be one of five Irish whiskey brands that featured with out local distributor Alcohood Ltd. including Jameson, Kinahan’s, Redbreast and Teeling in the event and showcased the diversity of Irish Whiskey.
Being #OriginGreen verified by Bord Bia - The Irish Food Board offers new opportunities for us and our international distributors to meet local suppliers and drive brand growth.
Thanks to Bord Bia's local agent, Jade Cullinane and Alcohood Ltd. Billy Ng for a great #IrishWhiskey event and we continue to grow our market reach in this exciting market.
